Won’t produce blue-green stains on your patches that can be misinterpreted as “false positive” indications of copper fouling, so you’ll know when your bore really is copper-free. Similar in hardness to brass, Copper Eliminator parts won’t scratch the bore or damage the muzzle, and they’ll stand up to hard use. Top-quality steel rods have the same tough, nylon outer coating and ball-bearing smooth rotating handle as standard Dewey rods, with an 8-32 female threaded aluminum ferrule. Each rod comes with an aluminum Copper Eliminator jag.

Brownells USA Great idea. 14/03/2017

Great idea to make these without brass/copper in the exposed metal parts. Wish I had gotten these to begin with but I know have a 44" 22 and 30 caliber rod for my bench and dedicated my old 44" brass tipped rods to the field/range. One thing that made me deduct a star in the rating is that both of my copper eliminator rods came with a small bubble or chunk missing out of the rod coating. They should have been blemish free and perfect but they were not. The 30 caliber jag that came with that rod was also blemished.

This is great and gives you peace of mind that a multi-piece cleaning rod doesn't give you. It won't come apart and won't scuff your bore.

The only downside is since it is one-piece, its not very portable.
