Button rifled for unequalled smoothness with tolerances for groove diameter and straightness held to .0005". .22 through .338 barrels feature 6- grooves while the .358, .375 and .458 barrels have 8. No straightening is done and all barrels are stress relieved.

The CONTOUR #5, DOUGLAS .30 1-10 TWIST SS #5 CONTOUR ULTRA RIFLED BARREL is a testament to the craftsmanship of the U.S.'s oldest barrel maker. Known for their exceptional accuracy and meticulous manufacturing standards, Douglas barrels are the ideal choice for your rebarrelling projects.

Product Features:

  • Premium Quality: Famous Douglas Double XX barrels ensure top-tier performance.
  • Unmatched Smoothness: Button rifled for superior smoothness with tight tolerances for groove diameter and straightness held to .0005".
  • Variety of Grooves: .22 through .338 barrels feature 6 grooves, while .358, .375, and .458 barrels come with 8 grooves.
  • Stress Relieved: All barrels are stress relieved, ensuring durability and performance.

Specifications:

Constructed from 4140 Chrome Moly and stainless steel, the finished dimensions are provided in the accompanying chart. Unturned Blanks will be .025" (.63mm) to .050" (1.3mm) larger in diameter and 1-½" (3.8cm) longer than indicated. Please note that these barrels are not threaded or chambered.
