SEAL 1™ CLP PLUS® is a non-toxic bio-based cleaner, lubricant, and protectant designed for optimal firearm maintenance.

Key Features:

Efficient Carbon Removal: Liquefies carbon on contact for easy cleaning.
Fouling Residue Management: Wipes clean after two to three applications, significantly reducing subsequent cleaning times.
Micro Protective Barrier: Inhibits residue buildup from copper, lead, sand, dust, and dirt.

Bore Cleaning Instructions:

Apply liberally to a bore brush and run it up and down the bore numerous times.
Apply generously to a cotton bore patch or use pre-saturated SEALSkinz™.
Using a tight-fitting jag patch combination, run the patch up and down the bore two or three times.
Repeat until the patch comes clean.
Run a dry patch up and down the bore to remove any excess.
After two or three applications, you may experience an increase in muzzle velocity.

All Other Cleaning:

Apply liberally and scrub until clean. Wipe clean with a cloth or bore cleaning patch.

Storage and Protection:

For the fastest results, it is best to treat your gun while it is warm. Apply SEAL 1 CLP PLUS® to all surfaces and let it soak in. Wipe with a clean cloth to remove any excess. After two or three applications, you should only need to wipe down with a SEALSkinz™ Cloth or repeat this process occasionally.

Meh. Just an average CLP. 18/08/2015

I've used SEAL1 for 12-months. It really only shines as a lubricant in a hot, humid environment. The more you shoot it, the more it heats up, the more it lubricates and protects. I agree it's easier to use than other "bio-based" CLP products like FrogLube. HOWEVER, it DOES NOT clean or eliminate copper fouling. I also had problems using it with a 1911 in a Midwest climate. It will gunk-up the action in the extreme cold and changes from smelling like bubble-mint bubble gum to smelling like a dirty frying pan. I suppose its good enough for the average plinker. And I appreciate its made here in the USA by a retired Navy SEAL but I think this product needs a bit more tweaking if its to survive in the overcrowded CLP market.

Lube for Hot Dry Arizona - Seal1 13/08/2015

Living and shooting in HOT Arizona can cause function reliability. I use a small brush and apply Seal1 to the lube areas. Getting a weapon out after sitting 6 months, I rack the slide/bolt couple of times and the weapon is ready to go. This stuff doesn't dry out like normal oils.
