Fits semi- and full-auto rifles and carbines with an extractor enclosed within the bolt, including AR-15/M16/M4 and M14/M1A. Flexible, one-piece, molded polymer construction stands up to years of insertion and removal cycles. I have been using this device for several years now and I am still using the original one I was issued. They hold up to AR bolts being slammed on them no matter how hot or cold the chamber blocking device is. There have been no pieces flaking off into the bolt or chamber no matter how many times the device has been used either.
These are mandatory devices for our patrol rifles because perfect muzzle discipline is not always possible inside a police station but I can tell at a glance that the weapon is not loaded and safe.
Highly recommended.

Jeff Chudwin sent me some when they first came out and I've been an advocate of its worth ever since. I use them for all the long gun classes I teach including Patrol Rifle Instructor, Tactical Weapons Opeartor and the SWAT Academy. I encourage students to take this to their departments as a way to enhance the safety of their firearms training. The feedback I've gotten back from them is that not only do they work great on the range but also with field deployment.
