Introducing the CENTERFIRE RIFLE DUMMY ROUNDS from GENCO INC., specifically designed for the 270 Winchester. These dummies come in a convenient pack of 5, providing a reliable solution for testing your firearm's functionality without the risks associated with live ammunition.

Product Description

Manufactured to exact specifications, including diameter and length dimensions, weight, and balance of factory-loaded ammo, these DUMMIES possess the proper functioning characteristics needed to reliably check:

  • Magazine feeding
  • Action timing
  • Extraction
  • Ejection of all guns

The only professionally accepted and safe way to check gun functioning; live ammo should never be used except in actual test-firing on the range - after you have checked the gun with DUMMIES. The very reasonable cost per DUMMY is an added incentive to use them regularly.

The blackened case makes them distinct and instantly recognizable as DUMMIES, making them ideal - and safe - to use as a sales aid. They are especially useful when demonstrating how a particular gun functions or in gun safety instruction classes, as they absolutely eliminate the chance of an accidental discharge.

Brownells USA Works perfectly 05/10/2016

These are the perfect dummy round for testing function of your rifle before heading to the range. They fit the model 94 32ws and worked perfectly. Get your self a set of these durable dummy rounds.

Slightly recommend

Brownells USA Soft point bullets a bad choice 26/01/2015

I use these as intended on Lee-Enfield rifles. A great thing to tag along to gun shows (because they're inert) and perform the famed "bullet test" on a rifle's muzzle as well as to insert in the magazine to test the magazine, bolt face, extractor, ejector as well as to test chambering. Brownell's missed the boat on these by not adding a false primer in order to safely dry fire a rifle. I also object to the SP bullets they used instead of FMJ--the soft points get easily deformed if they should fail to properly chamber and hit the receiver sides. My sample bought 12 or more years ago are not painted black; they are more of a blackened chemical coating sort of like bluing. It does get scratched off but it serves to indicate that they are dummies and not live ammo.
