The 65° cutter is specifically suited for standard Colt factory and mil-spec 1911 sights, along with popular replacement sights that utilize a 65° dovetail. Manufactured from solid carbide, this cutter is built to withstand repeated use on hardened steel slides while maintaining accuracy and cutting performance. The.330-inch cutting diameter is intentionally undersized to accommodate manufacturing tolerances and provide a custom-fit installation through multiple machining passes. Designed exclusively for use in a milling machine, it is an essential tool for professional gunsmiths performing sight upgrades and custom pistol work. CAUTION: For use in milling machine only. For those using a 60° dovetail on their rear sights, we also offer a compatible cutter.
