To effectively clean the bore, carbon layers must be removed mechanically with a bore brush to expose the copper layers beneath. Alternatively, copper fouling requires chemical dissolution, as brushes are often ineffective at dislodging these heat-melded deposits.
This Speed Jag and Patch combo is precisely sized to accommodate both the jag diameter and patch thickness, providing optimal compression to reach deeply into the lands and grooves of the bore.
