It solves the long-standing problem for AK fans: how to install a weaponlight or other accessory without resorting to a railed handguard. The BM-1 clamps securely to the barrel, and allows attachment to the mount’s short Picatinny rail section. Definitely recommended
Great lightweight solution 09/01/2013
Great product, fit my arsenal 5.56, my romy 7.62 and a russian siaga 7.62x39. Use an offset light mount to clear the sling mount.
