I hunt whitetail deer with the Barnes 45 cal sabot. 45 cal are becoming hard to find. They harvest deer just fine. The design of controlled expansion is great. I used last year to harvest a 150 pound (field dressed) 10 point from 75 yards. He walked a few yards and was done.
Best MZ bullet I have ever used. 16/12/2015
I have used these bullets in my 50 cal. MZ for many years. They are super accurate and deadly. I shoot them in my Thompson Center Black Diamond. I will not shoot any other bullet in this rifle. I use 100 grains of Pyrodex behind them and have no trouble taking and making 100 to 150 yard shots.
