Definitely recommended

Very Effective Muzzle Brake 26/09/2018

This relatively inexpensive muzzle brake almost completely eliminates .308/7.62 NATO muzzle rise, and substantially reduces recoil. It makes keeping the rifle on target during multiple shots, which often occur during hog hunting or competition, much easier.

The only downside to using it is the lateral blast and noise. But, good ear protection takes care of this problem.
