Ambidextrous, all steel endplate provides secure, balanced single-point sling attachment, so your collapsible-stock rifle or carbine can be carried tangle-free in the ready position at all times. Special indexing washer with screw interfaces with the rear of the receiver to allow easy installation for right- or left-hand use. SASE-1 features a single slot that accepts conventional 1¼" wide webbing. SASE-2 has loop to accept HK-style hook or carabineer clips. The SASE-2E is an enhanced version of the SASE-2 featuring a larger loop to accommodate larger HK-style hooks

Will not fit DPMS 308AR Lower 30/12/2015
Button insert was punched (not machined) leaving edge seams with a too large diameter for recess in DPMS 308AR flattop lower. Button insert had to be fitted by filling, belt sanding and building a machine screw arbor to grind a bevel in the button to fit it using 080001039 mil spec buffer assembly with extremely tight fit. With castle nut backed off as tight as possible, the distance between the castle nut and the receiver end was too close for clearance to turn endplate onto lower receiver. $25.00 labor to make a simple insertion fit for a cheap made endplate. Buffer tube thread die to add one more thread would have necessitated anodize of the tube, just more unnecessary expense. Endplate metal was easily bent, indicating inferior metal. DO NOT BUY. Deserves zero stars!

Somewhat Disappointed 18/10/2013
Installation would have been a breeze had the head of the supplied screw not been malformed, rendering it useless. I understand that sometimes there are errors in the manufacturing process and I just happened to receive a product with a defect. However, a little better quality control would have saved me some hassle. Otherwise it is a good product.
