works for what its supposed to do 12/02/2015
If you want to carry an extra mag easily for three gun this is a good way to go. They are designed for Lancers so I can see how they wouldn't work so great with pmags or other mags (go fig as mentioned they weren't designed that way). Carrying and extra 30rd mag makes the weapon heavier and a 3 mag pouch becomes a 2 mag pouch...so personally I'd pick up a set to play with but for most situations I'd take a third mag in the pouch than two hooked together.
Not the most durable design 12/01/2013
I used this to attach two 30rd P-Mags for my AR. I dropped two loaded mags with the clamps, on the concrete from about waist height and one of the two clamps broke to the point that it would no longer hold the magazine.
I will spend a little extra money on something a little more well constructed next time.
