851876003349 Steel, push-button pins give a positive lock that quickly release with finger pressure for easy access to the inside of your AR-15’s upper and lower receivers. These Enhanced Pins now have an end cap to ease in pin removal and installation. The cap also prevents debris from entering the internals of the lower and the pin. Three, spring-loaded detent balls hold pins in place and prevent wear or binding in the pivot hole or receiver hole when removed. Pivot Pin replaces the factory front pivot pin. Takedown Pin replaces the rear, factory takedown pin to eliminate the need for a punch or other tools to disengage the pin.

Definitely recommended
Saved a messed up lower 28/11/2016
Long story cut short, I've got an AR lower where the detent+spring channel for the pivot pin (as in, the pin at the front of the lower receiver) is not exactly perfect... in fact it's just whacked. Skip how that got that way, but it means that I can't use a traditional detent+spring to keep the pin captive to the lower. The head of the pin, with it's clipped-circle shape, can only align one way when fully inserted (as you likely know: the receiver has a flat that mates with the flat on the clipped-circle of the pin head), but the detent being off-center prohibits that. I was planning some quantity of hectic modification to the pin (likely) or to the receiver (worst case) in order to overcome this, but then I remembered these KNS pins. Problem solved, it appears. If I find that the pin fails for some reason later on, then so be it, but for now it has saved me lots of time and it works.
