Perfect for custom builds, the DOUBLE STAR buffer tube assembly is ideal for installing a mil-spec or commercial stock on a civilian carbine, or upgrading a fixed-stock rifle with an adjustable M4 stock. The lightweight aluminum extrusion is hardcoat anodized and features a dry film lube coating inside, ensuring smooth movement of the buffer and buffer spring.

Note: Requires carbine recoil spring and buffer, lock ring, and receiver plate, all available separately.

Feels very sturdy. 08/04/2015

Used on a new build. Extension feels very sturdy, perhaps even slightly heavier that some other extensions on the market. Magpul stock fits nice and snug.

Though this buffer tube isn't really mil spec its still got good fit and finish for the price. I recommend it.
