812872022628 Replaces the bolt carrier, seals the upper receiver and provides safe and effective cleaning from the breech instead of the muzzle. Solid aluminum rod guide helps prevent throat and chamber damage plus, the rubber "O" rings keep bore cleaning solvents out of the lower receiver. Bore guides will exhibit small points of unanodized material at the rear end. This is where the parts are attached to the dipping fixture when anodizing and is normal on these parts.

Definitely recommended
Top shelf quality and performance 19/09/2018
I had been waiting for years to afford a Bravo Company rifle and finally have one so I wanted a JP Bore guide for AR15 and a Dewey plastic coated 36" rod to protect my investment. These two items absolutely work together perfectly. I greased the two o-rings with lithium grease and slowly inserted it with a little side to side encouragement. Then you rotate the bore guide until your window of opportunity appears and you are ready. Your brush , jags and other tips are going to insert through the guide and stay attached until finished. One note : the bore guide will not enter the receiver while using the Wheeler vise stand. The bore guide and rod were more important to me than the vise which I returned. You will be proud to own this guide. Mine was used in my BCM and a Rock River Arms LAR15.
Not recommended
Won't fit Sig 716 .308 08/01/2016
Sig told me this guide would fit their 716 rifle.
Will not work without sever machining mod.
