Definitely recommended

Simply the best 16/10/2017

Solid, well thought out design, strong and smoth mechanism. Easy to Install, extremely durable and tough. I have used many collapsible stocks over the years and in my humble opinion this is the best. Big suprise is how tight it locks up, makes for an accurate platform.

Beast of a stock 17/04/2013

Have had this on my Patrol Rifle for a year now and haven't looked back. Adds a good amount of weight to the weapon and coupled with an ST-T2 buffer the recoil reduction is amazing. Flattest shooting rifle I have ever shot. The tube is much thicker than a milspec buffer tube and the foam tube creates a very comfortable cheek weld. Even the included recoil pad is fantastic. While this may not be ideal for a constant carry situation (ie military) this stock suits my needs perfectly. When they say you can break down a door with this stock, they weren't kidding!

Still Love It 08/05/2012

After about 4 years of use, I still prefer this buttstock over all others. Having said that, buttstocks have improved over the years. It is possible to tighten this down to rock solid (but non-adjustable) for accuracy, which is nice. Of course, there's some newer "plastic" buttstocks that are just as solid in the adjustable format since this does still have slop when in adjustable configuration. Personally, I love the balance point this gives the gun due to the weight of the stock, and I rest assured knowing how strong it is in case worse turns to worst and I have to use it as a club or battering ram. Having said all of that... I always show my gun to folks before I build them one, and to date nobody else has given my stock much more than a sideways glance before opting for a Magpul buttstock!!! So, to each his own, but I'll take this bad boy in a second, and that's after having used it for years and fired many rounds through other AR's outfitted with DPMS, Magpul, and Vltor buttstocks.

Heavy Duty all in one package 17/07/2011

I used this AR stock for a carbine build for a co-workers son. He wanted something different and we hadn't seen this one in person yet. I couldn't be happier! The description is lacking as to what you really get, but with a simple call to Brownells they were able to fill in the blanks...great CS as always!!

This stock has an intregal buffer tube/reciever extention. It also came with an ambi sling endplate, slotted style, not the hole style. I used a Magpul ASAP sling plate on this build but the included plate will go on another of my co-workers AR's

The only issue is the castle nut is larger than most. My castle nut wrench would not fit, but my armorers tool has the old style spanner wrench section. Carefully using that tool was able to get the job done.

Overall this stock is a very solid addition to an AR.
