  • Easy Deployment: The sight body flips up effortlessly when needed and locks securely in place, thanks to powerful spring pressure and two locking detent balls.
  • Retractable Design: Accidental deployment is prevented until you press the spring-loaded button located on the left side of the base.
  • Secure Attachment: Base clamps securely to any military or commercial Picatinny rail using a standard flathead screwdriver.
  • Streamlined Profile: No protruding knobs or levers to catch on brush, clothing, or other equipment.
  • Protective "Ears": Sturdy protective "ears" shield posts and apertures from impact, enhancing durability.
  • Compact Size: Rear sights bolt to flattop receiver rail and are only .460" high when folded, while front sights clamp to handguard accessory rail and are just ½" high when folded.

Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Best Backup Sights Period 04/12/2012

I have tried most BUIS sights out there but these are clearly the best. Small enough to fit under the majority of scopes they stay down until you need them up. Once they're up they might as well be fixed sights. No wobble, no wiggle just solid and you have to push the side button to put them down. They won't fold down on accident. They are spendy but in this case, for sure, you get what you pay for.
