Recreate an American Classic with the Brownells M16A1 Pistol Grip, built to accurately replicate the original grip issued to thousands of American servicemen and women. This Pistol Grip is modeled directly off of original grips, which are becoming increasingly difficult to find or in decent condition.

Combine the M16A1 Pistol Grip with the matching Handguard Set and Buttstock Assembly from Brownells, and you have a new condition furniture set for your AR-15, M16, M16A1 or other early model rifle.

The Pistol Grip includes instructions, grip screw, and washer. Available in several different colours including:

  • Black - Proper for Model 602, XM16E1, M16A1 & later generation rifles introduced after 1963
  • Green - Proper for early Model 601 rifles, the first AR-15 adopted by the US Air Force in 1959
  • Brown - Similar to the earliest AR-15 Prototype rifle furniture used in the late 1950s

Brownells USA Well worth the money 23/07/2018

Beautiful pistol grip, easy to install (includes the screw & washer and the hole was drilled in mine). Reasonably priced. Not surprised though, Brownell’s always does their best to treat the American shooter fairly.

Having never like the finger rest on the A2 style pistol grip, I backordered this grip and waited for them to come back in stock. I typically put MagPul grips on my AR builds but always liked the A1 style grip, the kind I used while serving. All the "bugs" others have reported seem to have been addressed, everything was ready to go; safety spring hole was right, grip screw hole was drilled out. You can order knowing all is good.
