Adapter fits perfectly on 2" freefloat handguard tube. Also, with adapter in place, makes it approx. 1/2" riser also. Hardware lets you mount it into the handguard horizontal vent holes without removing it. Good product!

The rail is mounted on the Magpul carbine handguard and fits perfectly. The carbine is use for patrol work with a mounted light on it. The rail does not interfer with holding onto the forearm at all. At present, have not found any unfavorable issues with it.
