Nice, sturdy magazine (19/04/2010)

It was a little bit of a tight fit at first. Several reloads later it was accepted into the magwell perfrectly. Very nice item indeed.

I have been using PRI's 10 round mag in my Barrett REC7 on the bench with very good results so thought I would try the 15 round version. The 15 round mag is a nice compromise between the 10 round and the 25 round mag. Still does not protrude too much and works great shooting off of my bench. Also ideal for varmint hunting.

NEVER NEEDS CLEANING ---NOT!!! (02/06/2013)

Bought 2 of these from Brownells. Each functioned well the first time I used them. However, this magazine in NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE to take apart and clean...even at home much less in the field. I have never seen the bottom plate on a mag SO DIFFICULT to remove. Both were the same. Assembly was just a difficult. I would not trust a gun I could not keep clean and the same applies to a magazine. I plan to use these mags until they become dirty or unserviceable and them I will toss them into the recycle bin.

Solid mag (08/11/2010)

A bit heavier than other 6.8 mags, but of a solid and well designed construction. They require a bit of a "break in" period to fit the full 25 without feeling like you are forcing too many rounds in, just load and fire off a couple of mags and you're good to go.

This is the best manufactured magazine out on the market. Engineered for proper functions and withstand stress. After review and tests, it is the only one I trust with my rifle when my life depends on it to function properly.

Best You Can Buy - They Never Fail (15/02/2012)

I have only tried one other brand of 6.8 mag; it was supplied with the gun. Not bad but not 100%. I have put 9,000 rounds through 4 of these mags and they just work. If you have an AR in 6.8, these are the mags you need. Don't risk your money on aproduct that is only 98% as good. Guns require 100% reliability and Precision Reflex gives you that.

2 out of 6 didn't work (02/04/2012)

I took six of these magazines to the range four worked ok. One wouldn't seat in the magwell, and one froze with three rounds still in it.

Magazine falls out of rifle (03/08/2013)

I can't recommend this product and will be returning to Brownells. If mag is bumped, it falls out of rifle. If rifle is fired, mag falls out. Mag body is too small for mag well. Never a problem with other mags in this lower. The mag I bought is defective.

I am 100% satisfied with this product. Fits perfectly in my Barrett REC7 6.8. Fits snug yet drops free even empty, you get what you pay for. Will buy more from PRI.

Welded into one piece (16/09/2011)

I was getting along with C-mags which are folded over and tack welded. These PRI magazines are welded into one piece without any overlapping folds. So you have a little more room for a longer COL and they have no sheet metal edges. The bottoms are much more solid as well.
