Garbage (24/02/2017)

I purchased this with high expectations being Magpul. This is pure garbage. There is a polymer base and the hand stops lay on top of the base. There is a gap between the two polymer pieces where the M LOK screws engage. The only thing holding the M LOK screw is a thin polymer lip that caves in because there is space between the top panel and lower panel. I torque everything down with a torque wrench according to screw size and the polymer failed at 10 in/lbs. If the polymer pieces sat flush without any gap it would have held. Very poor design and obviously not tested for hard use. If I could give no stars I would.

I would not give the poor review much weight. This works better if you don't use the plastic base and you attach everything else directly to your mlok handguard. The instructions list this as an option. It works very well.

Favorite M-Lok handstop out there (23/02/2018)

I liked it so much, I have them on 3 of my guns. I don't suggest using the optional base, just directly put the stops and rail cover directly on the handguard. However, I am glad it is available because one of my gun's gas block is too close to the handguard to mount any M-Lok accessories under it. The base was perfect to alleviate that problem. My only wish is if they sold the handstop and the finger stop as separate pieces instead of having to buy the whole kit.

Of note, I did have to take the screws to a grinder and remove material to keep them from pressing against my barrel.
