816341025271 One of the most popular barrel profiles in the Faxon Firearms lineup is its Gunner Profile barrel, and now AR builders looking to reap the benefits of the new 350 Legend cartridge can take advantage of this perfect blend of barrel profiles. In the creation of its Gunner Profile AR-15 Barrel, Faxon Firearms took elements of Government-profile barrels and Pencil-profile barrels in order to give shooters the best of both worlds. The durability of the Government-profile barrel and the lightness and maneuverability of the Pencil-profile barrel are both found in the Gunner, which makes for a better general-purpose rifle. Each Faxon Firearms Gunner Profile AR-15 Barrel in 350 Legend is machined from 4150 steel and button-rifled with a 1:16-inch twist rate. Barrels are available in 16- and 20-inch overall lengths and are outfitted with carbine-length gas systems. Each barrel is treated with a nitride finish on the inside and outside, and the barrels are compatible with most standard gas blocks, thanks to the .750-inch gas-block journal. The barrels are MPI-tested and feature 1/2-28 TPI threaded muzzles.
