This easy-to-install gas block features an integral fixed rail and a modular design that allows for the fast installation and removal of up to three additional Picatinny rails. These rails are perfect for mounting lasers, lights, night vision optics, back-up sights, and a variety of other tactical accessories.

With side and bottom rails that attach easily with two screws, you can configure the unit to meet the requirements of each mission. The gas block is precision-machined from rugged, 6061 billet aluminum, providing superior strength without adding unnecessary weight to your weapon. It mounts securely to the barrel with three hardened steel setscrews.

Definitely recommended

Brownells USA gas block - Bayonet Lug. 28/02/2017

we got in the gas block - bayonet lug. went on great - fast, with a AR 15 roll pin starter. add 2 small drops of blue lock tight on all 2 or 4 Alin screws, to be safe!



Slightly recommend

Brownells USA Great design, terrible material choice 21/02/2016

I purchased this kit for an upper build I was doing as a gift for a friend. The design is fantastic in its versatility but the choice of a low grade and strength aluminum (6061 or 2024) as the manufacturing material was wrong considering the limited length of threaded holes for both clamping to the barrel and attaching the picatinny rail sections. Both the clamping set screws and the screws for attaching rail sections stripped out without any effort and upon examining the screws for the rail sections the screws were only holding on 1-1/2 to 2 complete turns of the thread. Standard manufacturing practice is that when putting a screw into aluminum of any grade you must go twice the diameter of the screw in number of threads to properly hold.



As previously stated this is a fantastic design but would be better off if manufactured out of steel or titanium.
