Rods come in 6-paks, and in different lengths and diameters to fit the different gas port specs used by various manufacturers. Segmented construction lets you break the rod off with standard cleaning rod, and high-visibility orange color makes it easy to verify both portions are out of the gas system and barrel. Available in .22 Cal for .223/5.56 and .30 Cal for all calibers from .223/5.56 up to .30 caliber. Includes instructions.

Definitely recommended
Great tool - beats guessing 09/03/2018
Did my first two AR's tonight using this gadget. One was a heavy/bull barrel and other was a standard .750. Both gas blocks were vintage with rails built in. Read the instructions, watched a couple videos on YouTube then got going. Cleaned out the barrel ports per instructions. Dropped in the little sticks which went without a hitch. I did discover one gas block was generously sized so I had to pick the best "middle" position. Both fell into place and blocks tightened. Both snapped off easily with a cleaning rod.
This is much cheaper than buying a bore scope and certainly much better than guessing by eye and hoping the holes are lined up. Highly recommend and will be buying more of these.

Great idea, didnât work 04/02/2018
I followed the instructions provided in the video provided by brownells. It seemed like a great idea and I was aligning a fbs I thought it would work great. I found the correct pin which was the smallest, put it in the barrel, slipped the fbs over , flipped the assembly over and it worked. Got it aligned, but then when I tried to remove it the pin wouldnât drop back down! I loosened the fbs thinking it was jammed against the wall, nothing! No matter what I sit I would the pin would not drop! I eventually had to pull the fbs off the barrel breaking the plastic pin. Very upset I paid almost $10 for a one use piece of plastic that didnât even work! Maybe I did something wrong but I am not happy with this product!
