Definitely recommended

Making the Best Backup Sights Better 21/01/2011

Over ten years ago I carried an AR carbine with a similar arrangement of a tritium sight post up front with two small tritium lights on the A1 style rear sight. Just as then, the addition of tritium makes a very good sight great. My eye naturally aligns the front light source even with the two reference lights on the rear sight, and 1/2 way between those rear light sources. Unlike tritium night sights on a pistol or revolver, there is a much lower chance of a bad guy locating me by the glow of the tritium.
It is remarkable how much more accurately I can place shots between dusk and dawn.
