Forward of the gas block, the 6.5 Grendel Gunner Barrel has a pencil profile to keep weight down and preserve ease of handling. Faxon chambers their 6.5 Grendel Gunner Barrels to “Type 2” or .136" bolt face depths. Button rifles to 1-8" twist 5R rifling for accuracy, a bit of extra velocity, and easy cleaning. Requires mid-length gas tube NP3-coated barrel extension & black QPQ Nitride coating on barrel 11° target crowned muzzle 5/8"-24 threaded muzzle Faxon’s 6.5 Grendel Gunner Barrels deliver excellent accuracy a variety of ammo, from inexpensive plinking rounds to heavy, precision target loads.

Brownells USA Great Value and Performance 30/12/2017

Bought this barrel to split the difference between budget and high end accuracy. This barrel is more accurate than most bolt guns I have. This 100 yard group was just a bipod and no rear sandbag with cross wind,sub MOA for sure. Don’t hesitate to buy this.
