850011846162 SUPERLATIVE ARMS LLC RIGHT HAND ADJUSTABLE PISTON SYSTEM W/0.750" GAS BLOCK FOR AR-15 The Superlative Arms patent pending “Bleed Off”, direct impingement, gas block for the AR15 platform adjusts the gas flow by bleeding the gas out of the block instead of restricting the flow like conventional adjustable blocks. NOT RATED FOR 300 BLACKOUT IN PISTOL LENGTH Results: The pressure used in the block is reduced only to the amount required to drive the bolt carrier. The remaining gas / pressure are bled out of the block allowing the system to run much cleaner and cooler. Reduction of felt recoil. Patented adjustment detent is located outside of the block and therefore no contamination. The gas adjustment screw does not restrict the gas flow; therefore there is no erosion or seizing of the screw / no loss of detent due to carbon build up. Although it is removable, we have added a safety mechanism, which stops you from unintentionally backing the screw all the way out. When using SBR’s and / or suppressors the bleed off port allows the excessive pressure to be exhausted out of the block reducing blow back. Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Best Piston on the market! 24/02/2018

Piston Kits are known to be bulky and not very reliable...in fact most people choose DI instead simply because of this. This kit is NOT that. There is a bit more to the installation process but it is still super simple. The guy must have installed his incorrectly with the bad review! The Bleed-Off is genius, especially for suppressed shooting. Piston Kits run way cleaner. Do not hesitate with this kit and know that if you call Superlative, you will speak with the owner and he will get you taken care of! Oh, and with the Solid Mount, dimpling the barrel is a must!

Brownells USA Superlative Arms Pistol Length System 30/12/2017

The design and quality of the adjustable gas block is very good. It's super low profile and lightweight. The main issue is that I found that the piston rod binds up inside the gas block. The quality of the bolt carrier is sub-par. There were mill marks on the face of the bolt carrier and underneath it. Appears to be poor quality control. The biggest issue is that the bolt carrier would not fit in my Battle Arms upper. It was too large. It would however fit in my Seekins Precision upper. Not sure if the issue was with the bolt carrier dimensions or the dimensions of the Battle Arms upper. Disappointly I had to send it back.
