Machined from 4150 CMV carbon steel for an excellent balance accuracy and longevity, and QPQ Nitride coated inside and out for amazing corrosion resistance and durability. All Faxon Gov’t / SOCOM 5.56 AR-15 barrels are fully stress-relieved, air-gauge tested, and individually checked for headspace by precision custom hardened gauges. They are put through a battery of tests at each operation until they a final inspected and allowed out the door. Definitely recommended

Brownells USA NICE! 07/03/2018

Fit was tight, finish seems to be quality, not too glossy. I installed this with a set-screw style gas block and plastic two-piece handguards and i'm seeing just over 1 MOA with 50 gr. varmint loads, about the same with 69 grainers. Barrel is not super light but balances well with rifle buffer tube and A2 stock. Would buy again.
