Brownells USA make sure it will fit!!! 23/07/2012

does what it is supposed to do. be careful though, if you have a carbine gas system and a 7in rail, it WILL NOT fit. same goes for any combination of gas system and the same length handguard. it hits the shoulder of the barrel before it even reaches the thread of the handguard. however, if you use a mid length handguard on a carbine gas system, which i do, it does look pretty good

Brownells USA Must add if you get their forearm 12/08/2011

The only downside to this part is that it isn't included in the price of the forearm. It adds a finished appearance and professionalism to the installation.
