Important Warnings
- DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the set screw when installing the aluminum locking plate.
- SI aluminum EMP is designed to be a tight fit and can potentially damage the polymer magazine body base ears. Installation should be performed by a certified gunsmith only.
- Utilize a small c-clamp (or similar tool) to gently squeeze the bottom middle of the magazine body just above the plastic locking ears where the SI aluminum EMP attaches. Ensure the OEM magazine body metal liner is not bent.
- Remove the c-clamp as soon as the SI aluminum EMP is installed or removed to avoid marred or scratched magazine body surfaces. Use protective material as needed.
