Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, this Extended Magazine Plate (EMP) adds plus 5 9mm or plus 4 .40 cal rounds to compatible OEM double stack GLOCK™ magazines. Following the success of our EMP systems for pistols, the form factor and unique geometric design gives a unified and aggressive aesthetic look to your GLOCK™ G17. Included is an aluminum plate which adds extra locking security. Give your GLOCK™ pistol the extra rounds it deserves with the Strike Industries Aluminum Extended Magazine Plate (EMP) for GLOCK™ G17 (9mm). WARNING: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN set screw when installing the aluminum locking plate. If you are unsure, please contact our customer support team or consult with your local gunsmith. Use of small c-clamp (or similar tool) to gently and lightly squeeze the bottom middle of the magazine body just above the plastic locking ears where the SI aluminum EMP attaches to the magazine. Just enough so the SI aluminum EMP will slide in or out. Be careful not to bend the OEM magazine body metal liner and remove the c-clamp (or similar tool) as soon as the SI aluminum EMP is installed or removed. C-clamp or similar tool may mar/scratch magazine body surface. Please be careful and use a material to protect the magazine body surface. Important Notes:
