I like the brass pin pushers but the steel pin pushers are very soft and will bend easily if you need to align parts.

This is a great set and the block makes a nice place to store them on your bench. They are not made to be hammered, but you could lightly tap them with a nylon hammer without damage. The set I bought included steel and brass.
