Brownells USA High energy mainspring by alg defense 20/12/2017

I tried the alg mainspring because i have their enhanced trigger which is absolutley great. But my take on the mainspring is i dont really care for it because it increases the trigger pull which i really didnt like but the main thing is that to me it seems like it slows the action down because the increased main spring tension and it sure does drive the firing pin deep just makes me a little nervous. I put the original mainspring back in and i,m a happy camper again. Also and maybe this part should be in a different review but i tried the alg recoil spring along with there enhanced trigger and with the stock hammer spring and oh boy its a jackpot! Extremley happy with it that setup.

Brownells USA Good spring 10/04/2016

One of my AK's has a spring loaded firing pin, which would commonly cause hang-fires and light primer strikes. This extra power spring solved the problem, by giving the hammer a little more striking power.

You might have to bend the legs of the spring slightly so they do not rest on the trigger pin.

If your AK has a free-floating firing pin and you're not having any problems, you probably don't have a need for this.
