Best upgrade for AK rifles (25/09/2012)

I would use this on any AK rifle I had. It speeds reaction time with AKs. It is probably the single most valuable upgrade for AK rifles.

Great upgrade for any AK (31/01/2013)

This is a must have for any AK period. It allows for easy manipulation of the safety without your hand leaving the pistol grip. This safety will be on all of my AK's

Great addition! (13/04/2013)

A valuable upgrade to any Kalashnikov. The product fits perfectly in My Polytech. This product remedies the biggest Tactical design flaw with the AK series rifle.

A must-have for any modernized AK (07/05/2013)

This safety dropped in to my SLR-106FR (5.56, 74-style) rifle. I also installed the Solar Tactical MFER, which this lever is compatible with. The MFER has a recess for the forward leading edge of the safety/selector, which allows positive location of the safety/selector in the "fire position".

The stamping contour on the bottom edge of the Krebs safety does come in contact with one of the pins, but this can be remidied if a few minutes using basic tools. This wi smooth up the operation on my particular rifle, YMMV.

The finish is of good quality and looks to be durable. it is on the shiny side, so beware if you have a matte black or parkerized rifle and are concerned about matching. Of course, it can be repainted if necessary.

Nice except the finish (29/01/2014)

I would have given it 5 stars if the safety was cerakoted or some other durable coating/finish. It is a glossy black more than any other color, and it does not match the gun. I could care less about it matching. But, I do care about a durable flat finish. For the cost of almost $50, I expected a way better finish. Other than that, it is great.

Does not fit (14/02/2015)

It might be a fine product, but it does not fit my Century Arms C39 Sporter.

Does not work with folding stock (29/04/2015)

Great item, but does not work with classic folding stock AK's.

Thumb enhancement, blocks folding arm from completly folding under. Width of plate prevents folding over also.

Great for fixed stock AKs though.

Should be standard on all AK builds (30/06/2016)
