Definitely recommended

ACE AR GRIP ADAPTER FOR AK RIFLES 26/04/2014

I just installed this adapter on a WASR-10 rifle, along with a Hogue Monogrip. Immediately, I noticed a 1/16" gap between the front of the grip and the rear of the trigger guard, as mentioned by a previous reviewer. After carefully observing the geometry of the AK's T-nut (which changes slightly as the grip screw is tightened), I came to the conclusion that the problem was not with the Ace Grip Adapter, but with the size of the screw hole in the Hogue grip itself. Slightly enlogating the grip screw hole with a 3/8" drill bit changed the angle at which the screw exits the grip, thereby allowing the grip to be pulled tightly against the rear of the trigger guard and the bottom of the receiver. Hope this slight tweak helps someone else.

Does not work with Hogue grip 11/07/2012

I tried to install this adapter in conjunction with a Hogue overmolded AR grip on an Arsenal SLR-107CR. Not only was the grip out of alignment but there was a 1/16" gap between the adapter and body of the grip.
