The AK Alpha Series M-LOK Handguards from Midwest Industries represent the next generation of drop-in handguards for AK firearms. Designed for full flexibility, these handguards allow for various configurations, including:

Full handguard
Bottom handguard only
Alpha series optic and top cover accessories
Railed gas tubes

With an extremely adjustable design, the Alpha handguard ensures compatibility with most AKM firearms featuring stamped receivers. Each MI Alpha handguard comes with a specially designed heat shield, and installation requires no permanent modifications to your firearm, allowing you to retain the front handguard cap and sling loop.

Compatible with most AK47/AK74 AKM stamped receiver firearms, please note that it will NOT fit Yugo or milled receiver firearms. The handguards are also compatible with Midwest Industries Alpha series red dot mounts and top covers (MI-AK-ALPHA-RDM, MI-AK-ALPHA-T2M, MI-AK-ALPHA-RTC), as well as the railed gas tube and Ultimak rail gas tube.

The Midwest Industries Railed Top Cover is specifically designed for use with MI Alpha Series handguards and is not compatible with other Midwest Industries generations or products from other manufacturers. Patented components ensure an accurate return to zero for existing AK firearms, featuring an adjustable locking block that fits most AK firearms.

The Midwest Industries recoil spring button is made specifically for the Alpha top cover, providing an extremely rigid lockup that prevents dust and dirt from entering the firearm. The design utilizes two aluminum and two steel stability struts for a solid lockup while allowing users to maintain factory rear sights with a lower 1/3 co-witness sight picture.

Installation on the AK Alpha series handguard or firearm requires no permanent modifications, enabling users to revert their firearm back to stock form if desired. The top cover and main stability struts are crafted from hardcoat anodized 6061 aluminum, while the steel stability struts are laser-cut from 4140 steel.
