The Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Trigger for Glock® is designed as a direct drop-in replacement for the factory polymer trigger. This innovative trigger offers significant improvements in performance and usability.

Installation Notes:

This trigger requires the use of the customer’s stock Gen 3 trigger bar (and removal of the factory trigger) or can be installed on a separately purchased factory trigger bar. Note: Removing the factory trigger from the trigger bar necessitates the replacement of the complete assembly to revert to stock configuration. This product is not compatible with Gen 4 trigger bars or Gen 5 Glocks.

Definitely recommended

I own four! 12/01/2018

I bought one, polished it with Flitz and a dremel, installed in my G19 (gen 4) with a Ghost 3.5lbs connector and went to the range. My finger felt so much better after 500 rounds and my accuracy was the best it has ever been. I purchased three more for every Glock I own. I can not shoot a factory Glock trigger anymore. These are worth their weight in gold.

Slightly recommend

Very Dissapointed 22/01/2017

I have used several Apex triggers in M&Ps with excellent results, so I naturally had to try one for my Gen 3 Glock 17. It installed just how a Glock trigger should, easy and instant but had several failures to reset. I did notice the safety tab was making more contact with the frame than usual so I removed some metal from the rear for better clearance. Problem solved or so I thought, the failure to reset was actually because the striker was slipping off of the trigger bar upon the slide return. Replaced the factory trigger and bar, problem solved. Just to make sure, I tried it in my Gen 3 19 and same result. This piece will definitely be sent back, I'd much rather spend a little more for a ZEV or Agency Arms and know my trigger will reset each and every time.

Pros

- Very Easy to install

- Much for comfortable than the stock trigger

- Reduced take up

- Do not have the safety issue mentioned in another review. (I would question of it was installed properly)

- Did not resolve the main reason I upgraded my Glock trigger (Spongy Break)

I have been a long time M&P shooter and APEX did a fantastic job with their M&P trigger kit. I have installed them in my Full Size and Shield which is my summer time EDC pistol . I decided to move to a Glock 19 for fall/winter/spring EDC for added capacity and went with APEX tigger due to my past experience. The trigger itself feels nice on the finger and is much more comfortable than the stock trigger. (Any Glock shooter that has shot over 300 rounds in a single session knows the stock trigger leaves your finger a bit raw) The take up is reduced as well which is not such a big deal to me. What I was really hoping for was a crisp break which I did not get. The APEX trigger is still spongy which is disappointing and the main reason I upgraded from the stock trigger. I did opt to purchase the ULTIMATE SAFETY PLUNGER as recommended by APEX which I did test with and without. The plunger does make a difference and smoothed out the take up compared to the stock plunger.

So if you are looking to get a more comfortable trigger and/or reduce take up this is a great option. If you are looking to crisp up the break I would suggest looking at other offerings out there.

Not recommended

NOT Safe! 07/02/2016

I received one of these triggers as a gift and once I had it installed, I tested the function and realized that the trigger safety does not properly re-engage once the shooter's finger is removed from the trigger (i.e. if you are using a "ride the reset" method, or if you even put your finger on, then off the trigger, the trigger will then allow firing without touching the trigger safety) I exchanged it for another thinking the first one was just a lemon. The safety on the second trigger properly engages about half the time, which is still not an acceptable level of safety. As such, I can't use it or recommend it and thought others should be aware of this potential issue.

I decided to go with a different trigger altogether, which is a shame because I liked the straight profile of this APEX trigger.
