The Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Trigger for Glock® is expertly designed as a direct drop-in replacement for the factory polymer trigger. This innovative trigger offers a range of enhancements that improve the overall shooting experience.

This trigger is compatible with nearly all current Glock® model pistols, including the G43. However, it is important to note that the trigger is NOT designed for use in the narrower frame of the model 42, and it is not compatible with a Gen 4 Trigger Bar.

Installation Requirements:

Requires the use of the customer’s stock Gen 3 trigger bar (factory trigger must be removed) or installation on a separately purchased factory trigger bar.
Note: Removing the factory trigger from the trigger bar necessitates replacement of the complete assembly to revert to stock.
Not suitable for use with Gen 4 trigger bar or Gen 5 Glocks.

Recommended

Better than I expected 05/05/2017

So far this has been a very good purchase.

Please read through, I know its a little long.

The entire trigger is very solid and comfortable. I enjoy the appearence on my Gen 3 Glock 19 and I think its way better than the original trigger if you re-use the rest of the stock parts with it. I'm going to need more time with it for a solid idea but it's made me happy so far.

It was relatively easy to install and I didn't use any specialty tools when I installed it.

VERY IMPORTANT! (Only reason for 4 stars)

I got this expecting to possibly have issues that others had. Initially my trigger safety DID NOT reset! However upon further inspection the problem was clear.

There is a heavy factory lubricant in the trigger safety spring which is part of the problem the other is the anodizing, the trigger and trigger safety rub a little. Without adressing the lube I dry-fired it for probably 10 minutes and it seemed cause enough wear between the parts and the safety has not stuck since. But just for safety sake I sprayed the trigger shoe with rem oil and the thick white grease on the spring appears to be gone and its even smoother. 100 rounds later and no failures to reset, I think it will get even better with more use.

A failing striker spring will also cause the safety to fail.

I am a certified Range Officer and understand safety is #1 please ensure the trigger safety is functioning BEFORE conducting live fire.

Glock Apex Trigger Black 24/04/2017

After install trigger would'nt reset and the lever safety would stick and the pistol would fire of pulled by only pushing back on the side of the trigger without touching lever. Totally unsafe Trigger returned for refund.

Works great in Gen 3 06/11/2015

I pre-ordered this trigger when they were first announced. I received it the day after they were released and quickly installed it in my Gen 4 Glock 19. It did not work as it would not reset after pulling the trigger. Right off the bat when installing the slide back on the receiver, I could see there was going to be problems. I emailed Apex with the problem and quickly received a response from them. They tried to diagnose the problem with me but ultimately it was to no avail. I ended up removing it from my Gen 4 and putting it into a Gen 3 Glock 17 where it works flawlessly. Since then I have received an email from Apex apologizing and stating that they have discovered their trigger is not compatible with Gen 4. They did offer to have me ship my firearm to them at their cost for them to install a Gen 3 trigger bar into my Gen 4. I gave them a 4 star rather than 5 star review because I did end up destroying my Gen 4 trigger bar and ultimately had to purchase a new one to get my Glock up and running again. In my Gen 3, works awesome and I would recommend it. If you're going to run this on a Gen 4 Glock, make sure to replace the trigger bar as well with a Gen 3.
