Not Happy 16/02/2015
I've had a Mec 9000G for 3 yrs now and I have had problems with the primer mechanism from the start. I called Mec twice and the first time I spoke to the engineer, he was helpful. The second time, an engineer was not helpful or courteous at all. He was very impatient. I even was going to ship the reloader back for them to adjust which they advertise they do and charge $65.00/hr, but UPS wanted $100.00 just to ship it one way.
I had enough of spilled powder and shot and much frustration with the machine that I gladly sold it and purchased a RCBS Grand. The Grand is such a better press. The adjustments are easy and easy to get to, it's more sold, better made, better engineered that I am extremely happy with it. I won't buy Mec again. If you haven't had problems with one, consider yourself lucky. I'm glad I sold it.
