050806022386 For most of the older .22's that no longer have a factory replacement magazine tube, this kit provides the parts needed to custom-make a magazine to fit. All tube blanks have a rolled crimp on one end only. Kit No. 1: .350" O.D. tube, 17½" (44.4cm) long. 23½" (59.6cm) spring, with follower, plug, and cross pin. For some Winchesters, both older and new, plus many others. Will not fit tubular magazines with a plastic follower such as the Marlin model 60 or derivatives of it. This kit does not have the hole drilled in the tube. The kit is used for multiple applications and are designed to be finished to length and drilled by the end user.

I have saved a rifles that my uncle left me with this kit that the magazine tube is on longer available.

Brownells USA #1 .22 Magazine tube kit 06/06/2010

Used the kit on an old [...] .22 the tube had to be cut to fit. But the use of a standard tubing cutter worked fine. The problem I had is with the follower it was a bit too short. I made a makeshift follower out of a nylon bore cleaner.
