616612670458 ALPHA MUNITIONS 22 ARC BRASS The 22 ARC (Advanced Rifle Cartridge) is a centerfire rifle cartridge designed to provide higher performance for the AR-15 platform. It uses a 6.5 Grendel parent case but is necked down to .22 caliber and is optimized for heavier bullets (62–88 grains) to achieve a flat trajectory, good energy, and accuracy at medium to long ranges. This makes it suitable for varmint hunting, long-range precision shooting, and predator hunting. The Alpha 22 ARC brass uses Small Rifle primers and ships in 100 count custom Alpha Munitions plastic cases with perforated bi-layer foam for protection of cases during shipping and can be used for loaded ammunition. Each 22 ARC case produced by Alpha Munitions also incorporates the company's OCD with optimized case head technology, which is designed to lengthen primer pocket life, as well as the life of the case overall, even at higher than normal pressures and velocities.
