Alot better than the reviews 24/02/2018
First things first, is it easy to strip a screw in general flat head or other wise? Answer: yes if you over tighten or if you have a poor fit from the driver and the fastener.
With that said I love this grip screw!!!
With the rubber o-ring installed and tightened down these things are amazing they look great and if you decide to use magpul FDE grips I cannot imagine one looking better.
I was a little worried after reading the reviews. However, I feel that they are not taking into account of what caused them to strip(that being more of a user error than a performance issue). They threaded on perfect, snugged up and tighten down perfectly. Being completely honest on one of the screws as I was torquing it down I started to feel the driver bit lose contact with the screw head. I stopped immediately repositioned my screwdriver and finished up.
I ordered these for my S&W but I but one in my build project with magpul FDEs and they look so good I want to order another set for it.
My advice just slow down and take your time. I am sad to see these screws go.

Used to replace factory screws on 7 - 1911's in the past 4 years. Remain tight. Have experienced no problems.
