Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Good trigger 30/11/2013

Being fairly new to 1911s, I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into.

Unsurprisingly, trigger did not drop into a PT1911. But, understandably, fitting is required. After I figured out what I needed to do, it was just a matter of time.

This was meant largely as an aesthetic modification, but it has made the trigger reset and break much better. Trigger pull remains unchanged, at least in a subjective sense in terms of weight.

The recess where the over-travel stop is well machined and doesn't have anything near a sharp edge to it. Though it is noticeable, but not more so than others.

Functioned flawlessly with the 100 rounds I put in it to test a few new parts.

Simply, a good looking trigger that is well built and reasonably priced.

I did mark 'fitting required' in cons, not as a complaint, but just to make sure people know what they're getting into. This part will not drop in, it's oversized requiring removal of material to fit your particular gun. If you don't want to do some cursory fitting - don't get the part.
