Recommended

For 28lbs recoil spring that was binding 06/09/2017

Firing 10mm ammo with 180gr and above 1200fps had a noticeable snap. The slide was slamming back hard. I changed the recoil springs little at a time, 22, 24,26 lbs and it did cut down the snap. But when adding the 28 lbs recoil springs, the spring bind inside the RIA 1911 Tactical II 10mm stock reverse plug. It did NOT allowing the spring to fully compress.

The Nowlin Reverse plug resolved the binding issue and the 28lbs recoil spring operates normal. The snap has faded away to not noticeable. I like it.

The Plug is slightly shorter but ID is bigger.

The slide requires more effort to rack but you get used to it.

But firing a 180gr 1350fps still has a snap too it.

Definitely recommended

This is used on my Citadel 1911 .45 pistol.
it fit perfect. I would think it would fit any of the 1911 clones made by Armscore.
