Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Excellent Foundation 19/03/2017

This Caspian frame is a great platform for your 1911 build. The features I like most are the integral plunger tube and the 250 B/T cut. This tube is cast as part of the frame and WILL NOT come loose. Caspian is the only brand I've seen that offers this option, all the other tubes are riveted or staked on. The 250 B/T cut saves time cutting, but there is enough material left to fit any 250 radius B/T grip nicely. The frame fits easily with Caspian and other brands of slides. Con: As with all Caspian frames, fitting the trigger is the hardest and most tedious component to fit to the frame. Go slow, be patient, and you will have a nice smooth trigger. Pin holes will have to be reamed, mag well comes beveled. Highly recommended, Very Nice Frame.
