This extra-long, oversized release button features 40 lpi checkering for a positive grip and increased length, allowing for faster and easier magazine changes with little or no change in grip. The long-wearing, heat-treated, pre-drilled, hardened magazine catch comes already tapped and ready to install. Please note that it does not include the catch lock and spring.

Dropped right in to my ATI FX 1911 with no fitting required. Much easier now to release the magazine than with the stock release.

Very nice mag release, minimal time to install, button checkering is sharp and symetrical, little chance of your thumb slipping as it feels like it is glued to your thumb! Fit and finish are very good. A well spent 15min. to install. It even works well with my holster as there is no interference what so ever. I will be fitting my other 1911's with this mag release. I feel it was a good Purchase and am very happy with it.
