Heat-treated to Rc 48, with radiused corners that resist cracking, for a long service life. Available in carbon steel with a tough black oxide finish and stainless steel. Series 70 is sized specifically to give a no-gap fit on .45 ACP Colt Series 70 pistols and clones. Series 80 fits 9mm/.38 Super/.40 S&W/.45 ACP Colt Steries 80 pistols and clones.

Definitely recommended

Brownells USA Thank You EGW 06/08/2016

Finally, or I just may be late to the game, a firing pin stop that cures clocking. I have now installed this firing pin stop in four different brands of 1911s and have been very pleased with the results. Fitting times may vary, but the average is about 30 minutes, start to finish. This is not a drop-in part. Elbow grease is required. Also, for best results, just lightly burnish the leading edge instead of rounding it off like the factories do. If you want a radiused FPS, buy a drop-in. But, if you want a tight fit that also slows down the recoil impulse, get one of these.

Nice part i would recommend this for someone wanting a tight fitting stop in stainless for an 80series 1911, there are not many options out there this is a good one though. I fit the stop by filing the sides until it could be pushed in by my finger with a snug fit, make sure that you chamfer the bottom of the stop were the hammer rubs.
