799475406836 Rugged grip panels made from tough G10 fiberglass offer the durability and superior gripping texture of modern composite materials. Advanced G10 laminate won’t absorb moisture, resists impact, and won’t expand or contract due to temperature fluctuation—perfect for all-weather operations and extreme conditions. Texturing is CNC machined into the laminate, then hand-finished to ensure uniform pattern depth. The hard surface allows the texturing to be cut a little sharper to give more “bite” than traditional checkered wood grips. Operator II - Offers the same basic design and G10 fiberglass construction as VZ’s original Operator grips with the substitution of golfball pattern texturing on the leading edge next to the front strap, plus a thumb recess for the mag release. Excellent choice for the action competition shooter or tactical operator.

AWESOME Grips 03/10/2015

These grips are next door to being the perfect grip. They are very aggressive. If they are a bit to much for your comfort, a light going over with a medium grit sand paper will allow you to soften the feel as much as you need. No one grip is ever perfect for everyone. I removed a very light amount of texture in the area of my finger tips and made these grips perfect. Just go slow so you don't remove to much. You will not see any difference in the grip pattern or anything else on the grip after you make your adjustments. REMEMBER, remove a little at a time. It's hard to put that dust back on those grips. I have installed the VZ line of grips on all my 1911's and love them. They are well made and very durable. Oh yea, they also look GREAT. I receive many compliments about the grips at different ranges.
