Description:

A Magazine as Robust & Reliable as Your Pistol

Ed Brown's Officer's Model 1911 magazines are built to be as robust and reliable as the 1911 pistol itself. Crafted with a body made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, these magazines are heat-treat hardened to Rc 35 for exceptional strength.

Key Features:

  • Neatly TIG welded seam for enhanced durability
  • Carefully polished inside and out to prevent snagging on the magwell or rounds
  • Engineered feed lips for reliable feeding of traditional ball ammo, hollowpoints, and target rounds
  • Welded-on steel base plate to minimize bulk on concealed carry pistols
  • Includes two screw-on rubber base pads: a thin pad for hard ground ejection and a thicker pad for easy insertion and removal
  • Available models for .45 ACP (7-Rd) and 9mm Luger (8-Rd) pistols
  • Sturdy 410 stainless steel body with options for natural Silver finish or non-reflective Black Nitride for extra corrosion protection
  • Witness holes for easy monitoring of load status
  • High tensile strength spring ensures reliable feeding and lock back of slide on the last round
  • Unique-design follower made from hardened STEEL for smooth feeding

All of these high-end features would provide little benefit if these mags had a cheap plastic follower. Instead, Officer's Model 1911 magazines come with a unique-design follower made from hardened STEEL (just like the mag body). The extended front skirt and anti-friction finish keep the round stack moving smoothly for reliable feeding and full engagement of the slide stop after the last round.

The Ed Brown crew has been manufacturing custom 1911s for over half a century. When it comes to extracting the full performance potential from your Officer's Model 1911, their magazines deliver!
