Made from heat-treated, 17-7, aircraft-grade stainless steel to stand up to the demands of competitive and defensive shooting. Precision-formed bodies are built to very close tolerances for excellent, universal fit. Exclusive, molded, self-lubricating follower ensures reliable feeding and slide stop operation. Extra-power Wolff spring resists “spring set”. Removable base, spring, and follower for fast, easy cleaning.

They work great in my kimber (27/02/2010)

I allway keep they full for conceal carry for the last 5 years. when I practice shooting,they haven't failed yet.

Sticking with Colt (02/10/2014)

Well I'll start out with the good. Loading the magazine is very smooth and easy.

Now for the bad. Simply all this is is a Government/Fullsize model magazine with a bottom plate spacer that only alows it to fit officer models and keeps slipping off when I load into the magwel. The material doesnt feel very durable and it hangs up allot through the Magwel. This also will not alow you to do 8+1. They cycle/feed fine just not impressed with the kind of money you spend for an item. I've also got the Fullsize version that has the same issues but doesn't have the bottom plate slip off issue. I've gotten several items from WC and were great but I feel these are over raited. Thank You and hope this info helps

I use only Wilson magazines in my 1911's. I advise everyone to do the same.

7 round W/C mags for Officer's ACP (19/02/2010)

I have been carrying three of these on duty for about three years now. I qualify at least twice a year, and shoot this particular gun at least once a month on average. The three W/C mags have never failed to feed or lock back the slide...even after being dropped and left loaded all the time. I use W/C mags in my full size guns also, and highly recommend them.

I just bought this mag for my Kimber Ultra Carry II. It fits perfect. I still have to shoot with it and compare it to the original kimber mag.

Will never buy different magazines again (01/08/2012)

Bought 2 of Wilson Combat's 47OX magazines for my Colt M1911A1 Compact and couldn't be happier. I was having feed issues and the slide wasn't locking back after last round was fired. Replaced with these magazines and cured all problems. Couldn't ask for a higher quality magazine at a better price. The only thing I don't like is how the base pad sticks out a 1/4", but I knew that going in, try 47OXC to rectify that problem. I now realize I'll never buy anything but Wilson Combat magazines again!

Worlds Best Magazines (01/03/2013)

I am a Deputy Sheriff and a Fiearms Instructor. I carry a Kimber 1911 on duty and off duty with Wilson magazines in all of my 1911 pistols. I will use only Wilson magazine and trust my life to them.

EXCELLENT MAGS!!! (11/07/2014)

I have a 1911 3.5" Citadel Compact 45 I purchased with the intent of conceal carry. Before I had purchased Wilson mags I had bought some of the others such as Chip McCormicks, Colts, and Checkmate, they all caused my hollowpoints to jam. I heard about these mags on a forum so I saved my money and I have to say it was well worth it!! I purchased 4 mags 3 of the 47OX and 1 47 OXC. They all fed a variety of Fiocchi, Hornady, and Remington hollowpoints. The only issue I have now is what to do with all the other mags I have. Don't make my mistake buy quality the first time. Also a final note when loaded the OXC style mag (or probably unloaded too) with the low profile base pad doesn't fit in RIA compact pistols I had to file the pad from the top on the front of it, just a quick job with some sandpaper and it fit like it should.
